Drug Formulation

1 jin of pine knots, 5 liang of raw dried rehmannia root, 2 liang of cinnamon bark, 5 liang of Chinese gentian (stems removed), 2 liang of saposhnikovia root (root tips removed), 1 jin of burdock root (peeled), 3 liang of salvia root, 3 liang of smilax root, 3 liang of cocklebur seeds, 3 liang of angelica root, 1 sheng of hemp seeds, and 5 liang of achyranthes root (stems removed).

Processing

Coarsely chop the ingredients, place them in a silk bag, and steep in 3 dou of wine for 6–7 days.
