Chinese Name : 半夏利膈丸

Drug Formulation

4 liang of black pharbitis (half raw, half roasted), 2 liang of soapberry (unworm-eaten and plump; remove skin and seeds; coat with butter and roast), half a liang of locust pod seeds, 1 liang of Qizhou pinellia (soaked in boiling water and rinsed 7 times; sliced; dried in an oven),Green tangerine peel (soaked in hot water, pith removed, then weighed) 2 liang, areca nut 1 liang (wrapped in flour and steamed until tender, then chopped).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with a paste made from fresh ginger juice and flour to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills per dose, washed down with ginger tea after meals. To disperse wind-phlegm, increase the dose to 40–50 pills.
