Drug Formulation

1 hen’s heart, 1 liang of ginseng, 1 liang of cinnamon bark, 1 liang of licorice (roasted), 1 liang of dried rehmannia root, 1 liang of platycodon root, 1 liang of gypsum (powdered), 1 liang of ligusticum root, and 2 liang of angelica root.

Instructions for Use

Boil the heart in 2 dou of water; strain to obtain 8 sheng of liquid. Add the remaining herbs and boil until reduced to 1 sheng. Take 8 he per dose; consume the entire amount in one day.

Note

Avoid sexual intercourse for 49 days.
