Drug Formulation
Genuine dragon’s blood 6 fen, spotted beetle 4 qian, large camphor 3 fen, processed frankincense 6 fen (oil thoroughly removed), whole scorpion 6 fen, musk 3 fen, processed myrrh 6 fen (oil thoroughly removed), scrophularia root 6 fen.

Processing
Except for the opium and musk, first remove the head, wings, and legs from the Mylabris, then stir-fry them with glutinous rice until the rice turns a pale yellow. Discard the rice after frying. Grind the remaining ingredients into a fine powder, sift through a silk sieve, then combine with the opium, musk, and processed frankincense, ground into a fine powder, and store in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use
To use, spread out the medicated plaster and place the mixture in the center. Apply it to the neck, ensuring it aligns with the swollen area inside the throat: if the swelling is on the left side of the throat, apply it to the left side; if on the right, apply it to the right; if on both sides, apply it to both sides. After 5–6 hours, remove the plaster. Blisters will have formed at the application site; prick them with a needle and wipe away the toxic fluid.
