Drug Formulation
1 liang Sichuan rhubarb, half a liang Asarum, half a liang Fangfeng (with the root tip removed), half a liang Scutellaria,Chuanxiong 1 liang, Bai Lian 1 liang, Bai Zhi half a liang, Bai Shaoyao half a liang, Mangcao half a liang, Huang Bai half a liang, Huang Lian half a liang, Dang Gui half a liang, sesame oil half a jin, lard half a jin, beeswax 4 liang, pine resin 1 jin.

Processing
Finely chop the ingredients. First, heat the sesame oil, lard, and beeswax in a clean cauldron until melted. Then add the herbs and simmer over low heat. When the mixture begins to scorch, strain through cotton to remove the residue. Allow to cool until the ointment sets.

Instructions for Use
Apply the ointment to a piece of old cloth and apply it to the affected area, changing it twice daily.
