Chinese Name : 提脓丹
Drug Formulation
1 qian of borneol, 1 liang of mercuric oxide, 3 liang of red powder.

From *Collection of Prescriptions for Traditional Chinese Medicinal Preparations* (Wuhan Formula).
Processing
Mix the above ingredients and grind them into a fine powder; when 90–95% of the mixture is a fine powder, the preparation is complete.
Benefits
For abscesses with gangrene and extensive ulceration, where pus accumulates but does not drain, and the wound has expanded.
Instructions for Use
Clean the affected area, apply a thin layer (2–3 li) of the mixture, and cover with a standard medicated plaster.
Note
Do not use if the pus has already been completely drained.
