Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Piper longum, half a liang of Aquilaria agallocha, half a liang of dried ginger (roasted), half a liang of Cinnamomum cassia (coarse bark removed), 1 fen of black pepper, half a liang of white cardamom (husk removed),1 fen of Piper longum, half liang of Terminalia chebula (roasted, peel removed), half liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, half liang of Panax ginseng, half liang of Poria cocos (black skin removed), and 1 qian of Asafoetida (finely ground; mix with half liang of wheat flour and vinegar to form a cake, then steam until cooked).

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.
