Chinese Name : 牵马丸

Drug Formulation

1 piece of Aconite (roasted), 1 liang of Lepidium (roasted), 1 liang of Cinnamon Bark, 1 liang of Croton Seed (with seed coat and inner skin removed, roasted).

Processing

Pound and sift the ingredients; grind the croton seeds into a paste; mix with the powder; and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed using refined honey.

Benefits

For epidemic diseases on the 4th or 5th day, when sores appear in the lower region and cannot be treated by a physician.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 pills per dose on an empty stomach. If heat is trapped above the diaphragm and does not descend, drink half a sheng of hot liquid; after vomiting, the heat will descend, and the sores in the lower region will heal on their own.

Note

Avoid wild boar meat, raw green onions, civet meat, and asparagus.
