Drug Formulation

Realgar (ground) 1 qian, Cinnabar (ground) 1 qian, Borneol (ground) 1 qian, Musk (ground) 1 qian, White Silkworm (raw, with silk and mouth removed) half liang, White Aconite (raw) half liang, Tiannanxing (washed, raw) half liang, Black Snake (raw, with skin and bones removed) half liang.

Processing

Except for the ingredients to be ground, grind the rest into a fine powder; mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Benefits

For stroke with drooling and excessive saliva, gurgling sounds in the throat and diaphragm, dizziness with inability to open the eyes, deviation of the mouth and eyes, paralysis of the limbs, and all wind-related disorders.

Instructions for Use

For stroke with excessive salivation and locked jaw, first crush one clove of garlic and apply it to the cheeks on either side of the jaw. Next, dissolve one pill in soy-infused wine and rub it onto the gums to open the jaw; then take 1–2 pills dissolved in peppermint wine.For men suffering from wind-induced disorders or women with blood-wind conditions accompanied by locked jaws, simply dissolve the medicine in soy-infused wine and apply it to the gums to open the mouth; for headaches with dizziness, or sudden darkness in the eyes with a sensation of fainting, quickly chew 1–2 pills and swallow them with peppermint wine.
