Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed, and coat with cinnabar.

Instructions for Use
Take 3, 5, or 7 pills per dose; for warm epidemics, all forms of malevolent spirits, latent corpses, consumptive diseases, mania and insanity, and mountain miasma, take with jujube tea or plain water;For wind-epidemics and chronic epilepsy, characterized by numbness and stiffness of the body, insensitivity to pain or itching, inability to shed tears, restless sleep, a facial expression resembling crawling insects, and—over time—itching and loss of eyebrows and beard, cracked lips, and scorched teeth, as well as migraines, purpura, skin sores and ringworm, left-sided paralysis and right-sided weakness, and knee pain from “crane’s knee” syndrome—all wind-related disorders—take with a decoction of Schizonepeta;For cold-induced hernia and small intestine colic, take a decoction of fennel or evodia; for summer epidemics and the five types of dysuria, take a decoction of rush; for severe heat, take a decoction of rhubarb; for dry epidemics, take a decoction of raw rehmannia or a six-ingredient decoction of hemp seeds, or take with cold water; for damp epidemics and edema, take a decoction of plantain seed or akebia;For the ten types of water retention, take a decoction of Gan Sui and Da Ji; for goiter and parasitic infections, take a decoction of Gan Sui; for swelling and pain due to bladder hernia, take a decoction of radish; for the five types of hemorrhoids, take a decoction of white alum; for the five types of epilepsy, take a decoction of frankincense; for kidney stagnation, teeth grinding, excessive salivation, and lower back pain, take a decoction of salt water; for the five types of malaria, take a decoction of peach twigs;for evil spirits entering the heart, take with a decoction of willow and peach twigs; for Yin and Yang toxins and common cold-induced cough, take with a decoction of mint; for the five types of wasting diseases and eight types of dysentery, intestinal wind, and visceral toxins, take with a decoction of aged rice; for all types of cough, take with ginger decoction; for the twelve types of infantile convulsions, take with a decoction of mint; for red tumors, boils, scrofula, sores and wounds,salivating and wheezing, diabetes, obstruction of the small or large intestine (whether accompanied by diarrhea or loose stools), red stools due to alcohol poisoning, sore throat, swollen cheeks, accidental ingestion of copper, iron, or other metals and minerals, drug poisoning, and inability to adapt to local climate and water—administer with warm water; for dysentery with severe redness, administer with a decoction of Coptis; for women with chronic cold in the Blood Sea, red or white leukorrhea, difficulty conceiving, and various blood and qi disorders, administer with a decoction of mugwort.
