Chinese Name : 神圣北庭丸

Drug Formulation

Beiting (removed of grit and ground) 1 fen, Myrrh 1 fen, Frankincense 1 fen, Angelica sinensis 1 fen, Datura flower half liang, Curcuma zedoaria half liang, Croton seed (removed of skin, membrane, and core) 40 grains.

Processing

First, grind Beiting, Myrrh, and Croton seeds into a fine powder. Boil them with 3 sheng of good-quality rice vinegar to form a thin paste. Then, grind the remaining four ingredients into a fine powder, mix them into the paste, and knead into a cohesive mass. Store in a new earthenware box and roll into pills the size of mung beans.

For women suffering from long-standing blood and qi disorders causing unbearable stabbing pain in the chest and abdomen, or cases that have not responded to various treatments; or for treating men with blood and qi disorders; or for acute throat obstruction.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 pills per dose; adjust the number as needed. Simmer half a zhan each of wine and vinegar until it boils several times, then drink the entire mixture while taking the pills. Do not chew the pills; be sure to consume all the wine and vinegar. Immediate relief will follow. For men suffering from blood-qi disorders, follow the same dosage instructions as above. For acute throat obstruction, place 1 pill in the left nostril for men and the right nostril for women to inhale; immediate relief will follow.
