Drug Formulation

5 liang of weeping willow twigs, 2 liang of Sophora flavescens, 1 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis (one formula uses 1 liang of Coptis chinensis).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder. For each use, take 3 spoonfuls of the powder, add two bowls of water, and decoct until reduced to one bowl. Strain out the residue, mix in half a spoonful of high-quality ink, stir until uniform, then simmer again until it forms a paste. Store in a porcelain container and allow to cool.
