Chinese Name : 三棱煎丸
Drug Formulation
Half liang of Jing Sanling, half liang of Peng’e Zhu (both roasted), 1 fen of Yuanhua, half liang of softshell turtle shell (remove the skirt; roast with rice vinegar until charred), 2 qian of light fermented soybeans, 21 grains of croton seeds (shells removed), half liang of Sichuan Angelica, and 1 fen of apricot kernels (remove skin and tip; stir-fry until reddish).

Processing
Combine the above six ingredients in a single container. Add one bowl of rice vinegar and simmer until the liquid has evaporated. Stir-fry the mixture briefly, then finely chop it and roast it to produce a fine powder. Next, add the Angelica sinensis powder, followed by the apricot kernels, croton seeds, and plain fermented soybeans, mixing thoroughly. Form into pills the size of a sesame seed using a water-cooked starch paste.
