Processing

Add 3 qian of Selaginella tamariscina, thoroughly cleaned and sun-dried; finely chop all ingredients, roast until black, place in a wide paper bag, and store in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use

For each dose of 3 qian, soak the herbs in half a jin of fragrant oil and seal with thick paper for 7 days. After each time you comb your hair, dip your fingers in the oil and rub the crown of your head until it feels warm, allowing the oil to penetrate the hair follicles. Within 10 days, hair will regrow in bald spots, and red hair will turn black. When used by women, it prevents baldness and makes hair as black as lacquer; for those who are already bald, hair will regrow within ten days.
