Drug Formulation

3 liang of honeysuckle, 1 liang of raw lard, 4 liang of Smilax glabra (avoid iron utensils; crush), 7 straight silkworm pupae (ground), 7 soapberry seeds (crushed), 7 cicada molts (with wings and legs intact; washed clean), and 7 soapberry kernels.

Instructions for Use

The above ingredients make one dose. Decoct and take in three doses: in the morning on an empty stomach, use 6 teacups of water to decoct 3 cups and drink; before noon, use 4 cups of water to decoct 2 cups and drink; before bedtime, use 2 cups of water to decoct 1 cup and drink. Take one dose daily for 7 consecutive days; latent sores will be quietly resolved, and existing sores will be healed, leaving no lasting complications. For severe toxicity, use 14 doses.
