Drug Formulation

Half a jin of Cistanche deserticola (finely sliced, simmered in wine until soft, then ground into a paste), 2 liang of Psoralea corylifolia (roasted), 2 liang of Morinda officinalis (core removed), 2 liang of Aconite root (roasted, skin and pith removed), 1 liang of Apricot kernels (soaked in hot water; skin and tip removed), 1 liang of Peach kernels (soaked in hot water; skin and tip removed), and 1 liang of Walnut kernels (ground).

Processing

Pound the last six ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with the Cistanche paste, then add refined honey and pound 300–500 times with a pestle to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose, dissolved in hot wine; take 3 doses daily.
