Chinese Name : 补肺杏仁散

Drug Formulation

1 liang of apricot kernels (soaked in hot water to remove skin and tips; remove the double kernels; stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow), 1 liang of cinnamon bark, 2 liang of magnolia bark (coarse outer bark removed; coated with ginger juice and roasted until fragrant and cooked through), 1 liang of ginseng (root tip removed), 1 liang of chebulic myrobalan (roasted; use the peel), 3 fen of white atractylodes,0.5 liang of licorice (roasted until slightly reddish, then chopped), 0.3 fen of dried ginger (roasted until cracked, then chopped), 1 liang of aged tangerine peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, then baked), 1 liang of aconite root (roasted until cracked, skin and navel removed), and 1 liang of white poria.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose; add 3 large jujubes to 1 medium bowl of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm at any time.
