Drug Formulation
Rhubarb 1 liang, Ephedra (reduce by half in hot weather) 1 liang, Cicada Sheds 1 liang, and about one jin of mutton (boil to yield 3 rice bowls of broth; set aside for later use).

Instructions for Use
Combine with 3 bowls of good wine and decoct until reduced to 3 bowls. First, eat the lamb meat with rice until finished, then drink the entire decoction. Cover yourself well and lie down; when profuse sweating occurs from head to toe and you feel the urge to defecate, go to an open area and defecate continuously while moving about—do not allow the feces to re-enter the anus. Once all internal and external toxins have been expelled, there will be no lasting complications.
