Shenping Decoction,In the years of the Rabbit and Rooster, when the Yangming governs the heavens and the Shaoyin governs the earth, patients may experience internal heat, a puffy face, nasal congestion, reddish-yellow urine, and, in severe cases, dysuria; or, due to the spread of pathogenic qi, they may suffer from sudden collapses, shivering, delirium, cold malaria, abscesses and swellings, and bloody stools.

Drug Formulation

Polygala (core removed, processed with ginger, stir-fried) 1 liang, Sandalwood 1 liang, Asparagus Root (core removed) 3 fen, Cornus Fruit 3 fen, Atractylodes 0.5 liang, White Peony Root 0.5 liang, Licorice (roasted) 0.5 liang, Fresh Ginger 0.5 liang.

Instructions for Use

Take 4 qian per dose; boil with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 7 fen; strain and take before meals.
