Phellodendron bark, Cinnabar, Bile Alum, and Smoked Gum (purchased from a cattle pen; choose the black variety)—each in equal parts.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into an extremely fine powder.

Instructions for Use
First shave the hair, then apply a paste of the powdered medicine mixed with sesame oil to the affected area; the condition will be cured after 3–4 applications. For dry sores, use a moist poultice; for wet sores, use a dry poultice.
