Drug Formulation
Bai Ji 1 fen, Bai Lian 1 fen, Dang Gui 1 fen, Cinnamon Bark (with coarse outer bark removed) 1 fen, Aconite Root 1 piece (half a liang, with skin and pith removed), Frankincense wrapped around half a liang, 2 branches of southeastern locust tree, 2 willow branches (each 7 cun long, finely chopped), Lead丹 3 liang, Croton Seed 3 fen (peeled and ground), refined oil 6 liang.

Processing
Finely chop all ingredients. In a stone vessel, first add the oil along with Bai Ji and the other herbs, and simmer until charred black. Strain through cotton to remove the dregs. Add the lead丹 and Croton seeds, then simmer over low heat until it forms a paste. First, add one bowl of water; then drop the mixture into the water—the medicine should sink directly into the water and form pearl-like beads. Scrape the paste off the bottom and transfer it to a porcelain container for storage.

Instructions for Use
Apply a small amount each time, covering an area the size of an almond.
