Shenyu Shuzao Pills,When vital energy is deficient, the bladder’s fluids, though stored, fail to be transformed; furthermore, when cold affects the upper burner, it cannot guide the interplay of yin and yang, clear obstructions, or regulate the excretory functions. Consequently, the bladder loses its proper function, the urinary tract has no outlet, and the fluids become congested with qi, stagnating between the diaphragm and the abdomen. Over time, this transforms into fluid retention, gradually saturating the spleen earth,Once the spleen is affected by dampness, it becomes stagnant and steams, spreading to the limbs and abdomen; it rises to the lungs; and in those with particularly deficient kidneys, it settles exclusively in the lower region. Drug Formulation

6 liang of Evodia fruit (sorted), 4 liang of aniseed (sorted), 4 liang of Atractylodes (chopped), 4 liang of aged tangerine peel (chopped),Green Salt 4 liang, Sichuan Pepper (seeds and closed pods removed) 3 liang, Magnolia Bark (chopped, bark removed beforehand) 3 liang, Dried Ginger (chopped) 3 liang (boil the above ingredients in 1 zhan of water in a porcelain vessel until the water is completely evaporated; remove and air-dry), Aconite Root (roasted, skin and navel removed) 6 liang,Zhi Shi (pulp removed, stir-fried with wheat bran until dark yellow) 6 liang, dried wood apple 4 liang, Sichuan Aconite (roasted) 3 liang, red Poria 3 liang, Wood Fragrance 1.5 liang, Tianxiong (if unavailable, substitute with large Aconite) 3 liang, pepper seeds (roasted) 3 liang,Akebia (roasted) 3 liang, mineral sulfur (imported, with sand and stones removed; ground separately) 3 liang, Yangqishi 2.5 liang (authentic; boiled in wine for half a day; ground separately until extremely fine).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, then mix in the Yangqishi and sulfur until evenly blended. Use the natural juice of fresh ginger to make a paste, and roll it into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
