187g wolf’s-bane, 93g trichosanthes peel, 9g tobacco leaves, 9g Sichuan pepper, 25g Sichuan aconite, 25g wild aconite, 6g Sichuan lovage, 25g saposhnikovia root, 12g Pinellia tuber, 46g gallnut.

Processing

Add 3 liters of water to the above herbs and decoct until reduced to 500 milliliters. Strain out the herbal residue. To the decoction, add 25g of ground sulfur, 20g of ground camphor, 25g of ground white alum, and 1.5 milliliters of vinegar. Simmer until it forms a paste, then stir in 15g of the Three Immortals Elixir until well blended.
