Drug Formulation
20 Mu Jie (shells removed), 100 castor beans (shells removed), 2 qian Weilingxian, 2 qian Danggui,2 qian of Chuanxiong, 2 qian of Red Peony Root, 2 qian of Fangfeng, 2 qian of Jingjie, 2 qian of Qianghuo, 2 qian of Duhuo, 2 qian of Raw Rehmannia Root, 2 qian of Bai Zhi, 2 qian of Huangqin, 2 qian of Huanglian, 2 qian of Huangbai, 2 qian of Turmeric, 1 snake shed, Honeysuckle, Soapberry Thorns, and Sichuan Pangolin Scale (finely chopped).

Processing
Soak the herbs in sesame oil (7 liang in winter, 5 liang in summer, 6 liang in fall) for one day, then decoct until charred. Strain out the residue,Heat the oil in a pot until boiling, add 2 liang of beeswax, then add 2 jin of fresh pine resin (add more oil if using aged pine resin), and stir with peach and willow twigs until melted. When a drop of the mixture forms a bead and is slightly non-sticky to the touch, remove from heat and begin pulling the yellow paste. For every jin, use 2 liang of genuine copper green (ground with a small amount of rice vinegar) and 2 qian of genuine toad venom (ground with a small amount of wine); mix these two ingredients and knead them into the ointment.Knead into thin sheets according to the affected area’s size, press onto a cloth, and apply; for smaller areas, spread on oiled paper.

Instructions for Use
When applied at the onset, the condition subsides immediately; if pus is present, it draws it out; once the pus is completely drained, the wound heals.
