Drug Formulation

St. John’s Wort Seeds (soaked in water, boiled in lime-clarified liquid for one fu time, sprouts removed, sun-dried, and stir-fried) half liang; Aconite Root (roasted until cracked, navel skin removed) half liang; Dried Ginger (roasted) half liang; Aged Tangerine Peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, and baked) half liang; Cinnamon Bark (coarse bark removed) half liang; Magnolia Bark (coarse bark removed, roasted with ginger juice) half liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from boiled water and flour to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.

Effective for all types of cold-induced disorders and chronic dysentery.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills per dose, washed down with rice water before meals; gradually increase to 30 pills. If fever occurs, relieve it with mung bean juice.
