Drug Formulation

1 liang of alum, 3 qian of ivory shavings, 3 qian of frankincense (roasted), 2 qian of dragon’s blood, 2 qian of realgar, 2 qian of cinnabar, 2 qian of amber, 1 qian 5 fen of myrrh (roasted), 5 fen of ox bile, and 5 fen of borneol.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into an extremely fine powder. For every 1 liang of the powder, mix with 5 qian of beeswax and a small amount of sesame oil; melt and shape into pills the size of a millet seed.
