Drug Formulation
2.5 jin of genuine Sichuan pepper (remove stems and seeds; never use those with closed buds).

Processing
Take a cauldron and place it upside down on the ground; mark the perimeter with a knife. Remove the cauldron, heat the ground red-hot with charcoal, then pour rice vinegar over it. Spread the Sichuan pepper on paper and place it on the ground, then cover it with the cauldron. After a long time, remove it, grind it into a powder, and mix it with 1 jin 4 liang of refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 15 pills per dose on an empty stomach with wine; after half a year, increase the dose to 20 pills; after one year, increase to 25 pills and do not exceed this amount.
Note
Avoid the “Five Pungent Herbs,” scallions, and garlic.
