Drug Formulation
Rhubarb 2 liang and a half, Scutellaria 2 liang and a half, Coptis 2 liang and a half, Houttuynia 1 liang and a half, White Houttuynia 1 liang and a half, Phellodendron 1 liang, Sophora 1 liang, Sophora flavescens 1 liang, Borax 1 liang, Borneol 1 qian and a half, Beijing Ink 3 qian, Musk a small amount (one version includes licorice).

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with pig bile, spread the mixture in a bowl, and steam three times over a steamer. Leave it exposed to the air overnight, then add borneol, musk, and borax to form pills the size of a bean.
