Drug Formulation

1 liang of ginseng, 1 liang of myrrh (ground separately), 1 liang of angelica root tips, licorice, and 1 trichosanthes fruit (half raw, half roasted).

Processing

Decoct the above ingredients in 3 bowls of wine until reduced to 2 bowls; divide into 4 doses. Dry the residue in an oven, add 1 liang of ground Angelica sinensis root, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using wine paste.

Take 50 pills per dose, washed down with the medicinal wine used for decoction.
