Formulas Name : Three Yin Malaria Ointment

Chinese Name : 三阴疟疾膏

Drug Formulation

Changshan 2 liang, Areca nut 2 liang, processed Pinellia 1 liang, Southern Pinellia 1 liang, Aconite 1 liang, roasted ginger 5 qian, mustard seed 4 liang, sesame oil 2 jin.

Processing

Prepare the ointment according to the method. Additionally, take 1 liang of Bai Chuan, 1 qian of Cinnamon Bark, and 1 qian of Musk; grind them into a fine powder, then mix with jujube pulp to form pills the size of mung beans.

Benefits

For all types of malaria: chronic cases affecting the Three Yin channels, internal accumulation of malaria pathogens, deficiency of central qi, and persistent damp phlegm, where medication has proven ineffective.

Instructions for Use

First, place one pill of this medicine into the navel until it is completely filled; then cover it with a plaster that has been warmed over a fire to prevent air from escaping.

Note

Avoid all “triggering” foods such as chicken, mutton, wheat, and eggs.
