Drug Formulation
8 liang of Cyperus rhizome, 1 liang of agarwood, 1 liang of Cimicifuga root, and half a liang of Asarum.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder.

When heat-toxin from the alveolar region surges upward, causing swollen and painful gums or the formation of sores.
Instructions for Use
Take 2 qian of the mixture each time, add 1 large zhan of water, and decoct until it boils 2–3 times. Strain out the residue, rinse your mouth with the warm liquid, and spit out the cooled residue. It is fine to swallow it if it feels good; repeat 3–4 times a day, at any time.
