Drug Formulation
Bile Alum (the “duck-bill” variety, roasted), one character-sized piece of Borneol, Bixue, White Stiff Silkworm (roasted and de-silked), Bitter Clove (i.e., melon stem; use sparingly), and Lampwick (roasted in rice paste).

For sores in the throat, swelling and pain, throat obstruction due to wind, single or double throat nodules, acute throat wind, foreign threads lodged in the throat, double tongue, and stiff tongue.
Instructions for Use
Use a small amount each time and blow it into the throat; if the condition has not yet fully developed, it will quickly dissipate; if it has already developed, it will immediately rupture and be cured. For severe cases, blow the mixture into the nose. If there is excessive phlegm, urgently use fresh mugwort leaves and rice vinegar—pound them together to extract the juice, hold it in the mouth, and gargle to expel the phlegm.
