Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose. Extract the juice from 4 liang of fresh ginger and mix it with 1 zhan of wine; simmer the mixture with the ginger juice until fully cooked, then dissolve the powder in it. Take on an empty stomach. Cover the patient with clothing and bedding; sweat will begin to emerge from between the toes and gradually spread throughout the body. Once sweating begins, the condition will be cured.This formula is also used to treat various forms of vomiting in children; adjust the dose according to the child’s age, administering 1 qian to 1 zi mixed with cold water. Vomiting will cease immediately. This powder is extremely fine and difficult to mix; first add a few drops of water, then grind it slowly and thoroughly, gradually adding more water until it becomes smooth. If hot water or wine is added all at once, the powder will float to the surface and become undrinkable.
