Formulas Name : Hemp Cloth Decoction

Chinese Name : 麻布饮

Drug Formulation

1 chi of hemp cloth (burned to ash), 1.5 liang of peony bark, 1.5 liang of Anlu seeds, 1 liang of cinnamon bark (coarse outer bark removed), 1 liang of angelica root (chopped, roasted), 1 liang of ghost arrow feathers, 1 liang of decayed cattail (burned to ash), 1 liang of red peony root, 0.5 liang of cattail pollen, and 3 liang of rhubarb (chopped, stir-fried).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose, add 1.5 zhan of wine, decoct until reduced to 8 fen, add half a qian of magnesium oxide, decoct for one more boil, strain, and take warm on an empty stomach.
