Drug Formulation

2 dou of pure wine (boil in a copper vessel until reduced by half, then add the ingredients), 1 liang of cinnabar, 1 liang of mercury, 1 liang of cassia bark, 1 liang of dried ginger, 1 liang of leilu, 1 liang of aconite (roasted, peel removed), 1 liang of Sichuan pepper (sweat removed), 1 liang of acorus, and 1 liang of cypress seed kernels.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a powder, add them to the wine, then pour in 2 sheng of pure lacquer. Stir until well blended. When the mixture is ready for pill-making, form it into pills the size of a paulownia seed, making a total of 900 pills.
