Chinese Name : 艾烟丸

Drug Formulation

1 liang and a half of Coptis (stems removed), 14 apricot kernels (soaked in hot water, skinned, tips and double kernels removed, stir-fried, and ground), a quantity of bismuth subchlorate (ground) about half the size of a soybean, half a liang of lead丹 (ground), and 1 fen of talcum powder.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients together again until uniform, mix with millet porridge, fumigate with mugwort smoke, and form into pills the size of a chicken’s head.
