Drug Formulation

Tin ash (ground into a fine powder) 1 liang, chicken heart areca nut half a liang, Polygonatum 半两, Frankincense 2 qian and a half, mercuric oxide 2 qian, orpiment (as a coating) 2 qian.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from wheat flour boiled in wine and vinegar to form pills the size of dried lychees.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose. Soak it in rice washing water until softened. At dusk, when neither hungry nor full, eat 1 slice of dried meat to induce the worms to emerge. Wait a short while, then chew and swallow the pill with warm wine. The worms will be expelled by dawn.
