1 jin of charred green mulberry bark, 2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of Achyranthes root, 2 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 2 liang of red peony root, 2 liang of prepared Rehmannia root, 2 liang of black beans (simmered in wine), 2 liang of Polygonum multiflorum, 2 liang of processed Pinellia tuber, 2 liang of Angelica dahurica, 2 liang of aged pine knots (charred), 2 liang of processed Eucommia bark, 2 liang of Polygonum multiflorum,Qianghuo 2 liang, Duhuo 2 liang, Atractylodes lancea (processed) 2 liang, Fangfeng 2 liang, Jingjie 2 liang, Gusui Bu 2 liang, Jiegeng 2 liang, Lijian 2 liang, Xuduan 2 liang, Aconite (vinegar-boiled, stir-fried) 2 liang, Sichuan Aconite (roasted) 2 liang, Cinnamon Bark 2 liang, Trichosanthes seed (stir-fried) 2 liang,Jiaohui 2 liang, Earthworm (cleaned of soil) 2 liang, Bai Lian 2 liang, Bai Ji (steamed) 2 liang, Xixin 2 liang, Aquilaria agallocha 2 liang, Sandalwood 2 liang, Rosin 2 liang, Liquidambar 2 liang, Wulingzhi 2 liang, Beijing Ink (calcined) 2 liang, Dragon’s Blood 2 liang, Frankincense 2 liang, Myrrh 2 liang.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with a paste made from sorghum rice boiled in vinegar to form pills the size of a marble. Sun-dry them, then coat them with raw lacquer by rubbing it onto your hands and transferring the lacquer onto the pills; let them dry in the shade. Place them in a cloth bag and hang in a breezy spot; they will remain intact for a long time without losing their medicinal properties.

Note
Do not use this remedy in cases of bleeding caused by cuts from metal blades.
