Coptis rhizome 1 liang, Phellodendron bark 4 liang, Sophora root 4 liang, Equisetum herb 1 liang, Saposhnikovia root 1 liang, Notopterygium root, and Angelica root.

Processing
In a large earthenware jar, fill with water and add the previous herbs to prepare a decoction. Take 10 jin of reed, licorice, and gypsum; calcine them over a charcoal fire until they glow red-hot, then use tongs to place them into the decoction. Regardless of the size of the pieces, ensure they are thoroughly softened;It is only considered ready when it turns blue inside. If the stone has not softened, decoct the previous herbal residue again and use the stone to temper it until it softens completely. Then place the earthenware basin face down on the ground for one day and one night to remove the fire toxicity. Once dry, grind it into an extremely fine powder. For every 10 jin of this stone, use 20 jin of gypsum; grind them separately into a very fine powder and mix thoroughly. Combine with the following herbs: Cinnabar (calcined),Roasted Cuscuta Seed. Decoct these two ingredients together, grind them, and mix well. Then combine with: Southern Frankincense, Dragon’s Blood, Agarwood, Frankincense, Myrrh, White Angelica Root,Coptis, Phellodendron, and White Clematis—each in equal parts; Dragon Bone (calcined); Cinnabar; Polygonum multiflorum; if infested with insects, add Mercury Oxide; Sophora flavescens; Hundred-Herb Decoction; Realgar; if the mixture does not dry out, add Cuttlefish Bone (peeled). Grind all the above into a fine powder, mix with the previous ingredients, and use as directed.
