Drug Formulation

15 liang of rhubarb, 3 liang of fried trichosanthes peel, 5 liang of areca nut, 5 liang of prunus mume seeds, 5 liang of Chinese yam, 5 liang of achyranthes root, 3 liang of angelica pubescens, 3 liang of saposhnikovia root, 3 liang of cornelian cherry, 10 liang of hemp seeds (ground separately), 4 liang of dodder seeds (soaked in wine and ground into powder separately), and 6 liang of plantain seeds.

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 40 pills per dose, increasing to 50 pills if necessary, and swallow them with warm water on an empty stomach; if there is heat in the abdominal organs, take them with barley water instead. This will naturally induce mild diarrhea.

Note

Avoid raw beef; pregnant women should not take this medicine. If, after taking the medicine, you feel a slight stirring in the internal organs, take a soup made from mutton tripe and lungs as a tonic.
