Drug Formulation

1 qian of realgar, 2 qian of psoralea, 2 qian of red lettuce, and half a sheng of genuine mustard (for mild cases, use 2 fen raw and 1 fen roasted; for severe cases, use only raw mustard and avoid contact with copper or iron utensils).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Place them together in a porcelain vessel and rinse with boiling water. After a short while, pour off the water and mix thoroughly with a spoon.

Instructions for Use

Apply to the affected area; pound a piece of scallion white about one cun long until pulpy, mix with honey, and cover the application tightly with it. Remove the medicine if there is unbearable internal heat in the bones. Choose a clear, sunny day and apply it in a warm, draft-free room.
