Drug Formulation
2 stems of green reed (chopped), 22 he of coix seed, 2 he of sweet melon seeds, 50 peach kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin and tips removed).

Pound the above herbs into a fine powder.

For lung abscess accompanied by cough with a hoarse, rasping sound, mild fever, restlessness and fullness, and a scaly rash on the chest.
Instructions for Use
First, use 3 large bowls of water to decoct the reed stalks until reduced to 1 large bowl; strain out the residue, then add the coix seeds and the other two ingredients. Decoct together until reduced to 7 parts of the original volume. Divide into 2 doses and take while warm, regardless of the time of day.
