Drug Formulation
1 (dead) bird (or old bird) (boil in plain water until tender; add half a jin of wine and 5 qian of asafoetida; bring to a boil once more; remove the bird, dry the flesh thoroughly; crush the bones, roast until crisp, and grind into a fine powder), 2 liang 2 qian of five-color sugar and asafoetida (melt separately and incorporate into the medicine), 10 liang of water safflower seeds,Shenqu 1 liang 6 qian, Atractylodes macrocephala 1 liang 2 qian, Angelica sinensis 1 liang 2 qian, Tangerine peel 1 liang 2 qian, Acute-seeded plant 7 qian, Aloe vera 7 qian, Polygonatum 6 qian, Green tangerine peel 5 qian, Licorice 4 qian, Trifoliate orange peel 5 qian, Realgar 5 qian.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with the juice of the (Zhu Niao) (Lao Niao) to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 2 qian and 5 fen per dose. After taking the medicine, if the ailment is on the left, sleep facing left; if on the right, sleep facing right.
