Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Ziziphus jujuba (peel and string removed, roasted with ghee until red, then weighed), half a liang of white Aconite (roasted), half a liang of Tiannanxing (roasted), half a liang of Gastrodia elata, half a liang of cinnabar (ground separately), and 3 qian of white alum (dried).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, add cinnabar and mix thoroughly, then use the natural juice of fresh ginger to cook a paste and form pills the size of a millet seed; coat them separately with cinnabar.
