Chinese Name : 香附胶艾丸

Drug Formulation

Xiangfu grains (simmered in aged vinegar, stir-fried until dry, and finely ground) 12 liang; Yuanhusuo 2 liang; Chuanxiong 2 liang; Danggui root (soaked in wine, washed, oven-dried, and finely ground) 2 liang;White Peony Root (fine powder) 2 liang, Qi Mugwort Leaves (stems removed, boiled in vinegar, baked dry, fine powder) 2 liang, Raw Rehmannia Root 3 liang (steamed with wine until tender, finely ground into a paste; do not use iron utensils), Donkey-hide Gelatin (stir-fried with clam powder until pearl-like, fine powder) 2 liang.

Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder; mix with vinegar paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
