Formulas Name : Xingxiang Decoction

Chinese Name : 星香汤

Drug Formulation

Tiannanxing (very large; those weighing half a liang or more are especially good) half a liang, Huoxiang leaves half a liang, fresh ginger half a liang.

Processing

Decoct in 1 large bowl of water until reduced to a dry residue; remove the mixture, then grind only the Tiannanxing into a powder, discarding the Huoxiang leaves and ginger.

Benefits

For children with vomiting accompanied by diarrhea, or diarrhea alone, or febrile convulsions.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian per dose, add a small amount of winter melon seeds, and decoct together in 1 zhan to half a zhan of liquid before taking.
