Chinese Name : 疏痘丹

Drug Formulation

Live rabbit (in winter, slaughter a live rabbit, let the blood air-dry in a large porcelain basin, then scrape it off) 1 liang; realgar 2 qian; cinnabar 3 qian.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with blood from the comb of a white rooster to form pills the size of small mung beans.

Instructions for Use

When the child has a fever, administer 6–7 pills, washed down with a mixture of white liquor and sugar water; this will cause the rash to appear sparsely.
