Willow root (peel off the outer bark).

Processing

Pound until soft, warm over a fire, and place in a silk pouch.

Benefits

For breast abscesses lasting two to three hundred days that have not healed despite various treatments, and which remain hard and purple-blue in color.

Instructions for Use

Apply the poultice to the swollen area of the breast; replace it when it cools. It will be cured within one night.
