Yin-Dampness Decoction,For all cases of stroke characterized by spontaneous sweating, gradually developing aversion to wind, a smoldering fever, shortness of breath, wind-dampness or wind-heat syndromes, exterior excess with interior deficiency, or exterior deficiency with interior excess; where the skin pores are open and loose, the airways are obstructed, there is spontaneous or night sweats, yellow eyes and body swelling, difficulty urinating, fullness and distension in the chest and diaphragm, lower back and body pain, and vomiting of saliva and froth.

Drug Formulation

1 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 1 liang of Poria cocos, 1 liang of Atractylodes lancea (soaked in rice water), 1 liang of Agastache leaves (soil removed), 1 liang of licorice (roasted), 1 liang of tangerine peel, 1 liang of Magnolia officinalis (processed), 1 liang of Pinellia ternata, 6 qian of Aconite root (roasted), and 2 liang of fresh ginger.

Processing

Take Houpo, Banxia, and fresh ginger, pound them together into a cake, bake until dry, and grind them with the other herbs into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose, boil with 2 zhan of water and 10 slices of fresh ginger until reduced to 1 zhan; take at any time.
