Yinchenhao 4 liang, Rhubarb (steamed) 4 liang, Raw Ophiopogon (core removed) 4 liang, Gardenia seeds 4 liang, Indigo powder 3 fen, Cimicifuga 3 fen, Scutellaria (black core removed) 2 liang.

Processing

Coarsely crush the ingredients until they are about the size of sesame or mung beans.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose; add 1.5 zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 8 fen, strain out the residue, add half a qian of sodium carbonate powder, decoct for another 1–2 boils, and take while warm.
